VX-28-09 intelligent service branch router is an edge access router. It adopts a modular architecture and provides integrated Fast Ethernet interfaces, AUX interface and synchronous/asynchronous serial interfaces. Further, it also offers optional Smart Interface Card (SIC) and Multifunctional Interface Module (MIM). Compared with its
equivalences, the VX-28-09 intelligent service branch router has higher performance cost and extensible capabilities. It can act as an access router in some large branches and as a core router in small- and mid-sized enterprise networks. Further, the VX-28-09 intelligent service branch routers can work together with the series routers, Ethernet switches to provide overall end-to-end network solutions for industry users and mid- and large-sized enterprise users, such as telecom, ISP, finance, tax, public security, and railway.
