24 Port 10/100 Mbps + 1-Port 100Base FX open slot Managed Stackable Switch
The PLANET WSW-2401A is a 24-Port 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet Switch with 1-Port open slot for 100Mbps Fiber interface which boasts a high performance switch architecture that is capable of providing non-blocking switch fabric and wire-speed throughput as high as 5Gbps. Its optional 100Base-FX fiber slot also offers incredible extensibility, flexibility and connectivity to the Core switch or Servers.
The IEEE 802 standard-based firmware provides a rich set of features and ensures interoperability with equipment from other vendors. Additionally, the firmware includes advanced features such as IGMP snooping, broadcast storm control, and MAC address filtering, to enhance security and bandwidth utilization.
With its built-in web-based management, the PLANET WSW-2401A offers an easy-to-use, platform-independent management and configuration facility. It supports standard Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and can be managed via any standard-based management software as well. For text-based management, the WSW-2401A can also be accessed via Telnet and the console port.
