4/8 Channel T1 DB15 Optical Mux Description: |
VLX-100 4
/ 8 Channel T1 DB15 optical mux is designed to connect
up to 8 channels of T1 data over a pair of single
mode or multimode fiber cable. Because of its unique
design, the optical multiplexer can also be ordered
with any combinations of T1 data channels. Each
of the T1 channel is transmitted on its own recovered
clock, has its own line interface unit that can
be configured to match the connected device, and
has its individual buffer to remove jitters.
To provide complete diagnostics, the VLX-100 4 /
8 Channel T1 DB15 optical mux offers 4 loopback
modes for each individual channel: local/ remote
loopback at the Master, and local/remote loopback
at the Slave. The optic mux system continuously
monitors the fiber signal as well as each active
channel, and reports alarms as soon as they occur.
Performance history, including errored second and
unavailable second, are recorded in the non-volatile
storage individually for each channel.
