The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2-P ethernet extender extends LAN network over a building's existing phone line network tehcnology up to 1200 Meters. The VX-VEB160R2-P alos provides 2 10/100 Ethernet ports so up to 2 computers or LAN devices can be connected simultaneously.

The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2-P ethernet extender supports symmetrical and asymmetrical data transmission bandwidth up to 155Mbps and distances of up to 4000ft. It is ideal for providing video-on-demand and multimedia services to apartments, hotels, and campuses without rewiring considerations. Moreover, the distance expansion also provides wide range coverage.

The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2-P Ethernet extender is plug-n-play without any software to configure and is also fully compliant with various network protocols and has built-in Link Loss Forwarding function. This feature enables the unit to disable it's Ethernet connection should be DSL link.

Ethernet Distance extension
Two Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2-P acting as a standalone pair is good for Ethernet distance extension over existing telephone wires. With just one pair of AWG-24 copper wire, you can easily connect two Ethernet networks together with maximum 100/55Mbps data rate. Telephone service can still be used while the modems are in operation.
