The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2 ethernet extender extends LAN network over a building's existing phone line network technology up to 1200 Meters. The VX-VEB160R2 also provides 2 10/100 Ethernet ports so up to 2 computers or LAN devices can be connected simultaneously. It can also be easily mounted to any metal surface with the attached MAGNET on the bottom of the Ethernet Extender.

The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2 ethernet extender supports symmetrical and asymmetrical data transmission bandwidth up to 155Mbps and distances of up to 4000ft. It is ideal for providing video-on-demand and multimedia services to apartments, hotels, and campuses without rewiring considerations. Moreover, the distance expansion also provides wide range coverage.

The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2 Ethernet extender is plug-n-play without any software to configure and is also fully compliant with various network protocols. Moreover, the rich diagnostic LEDs on the front-panel provide the operating status of the system at a glance.

Application

Ethernet Distance extension
Two Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2 acting as a standalone pair is good for Ethernet distance extension over existing telephone wires. With just one pair of AWG-24 copper wire, you can easily connect two Ethernet networks together with maximum 100/55Mbps data rate. Telephone service can still be used while the modems are in operation.

MTU / MDU / Hospitality Solution
The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2 is the best solution to quickly provide cost-effective, high speed network services to multi-unit buildings, such as residential (multi-dwelling units) and commercial (multi-tenant units) buildings, hotels and hospitals. By utilizing the existing telephony infrastructure, network installation is straightforward and requires no new wiring. Last Mile of FTTx deployment
The Versa Technology VX-VEB160R2 is a great and ideal solution for FTTx (Fiber to the Building, Fiber to the Campus or Fiber to the Node) applications, it supports high bandwidth VDSL2 over existing telephone wires in the “last mile” from the ISP / Telecom / Service provider’s fiber node to the buildings and customers´ home. The 10/100Mbps port of VX-VEB160R2 can be directly connected to a PC or to Ethernet devices such as Ethernet Switches and Broadband Routers. It is excellent for phone line network built by Internet because every room or house could use the existing phone line to transmit data in the Internet and the whole building could share the Internet to the wider area network with minimum cost.
